Until today my iphone 5 and wifi bg 2.5 GHz accespoint worked fine. I have not changed my configuration of the ap but suddenly my iphone wifi is very very slow and has connection loss. I have tried to default the wlan settings of the iphone but it dit not help. The wifi signal strength looks fine. Also my ipad worrk normaly on de same accespoint.
Any suggestions?

Did you try resetting the access point?
Yes several times also tried another radio channel from channel 1 to channel 6. Also cleared de dhcp reservation table of the ap/wlan router.
I tried another AP at my friends home my ipad and a samsung phone worked fine on wifi my iphone5 did not. The phone detect the ssid and the signal strength looks ok. The connection is refussed by the iphone. Security AP is wpa/ wpa2.
Has anyone tried a hard reset of the iphone5 version 6.02 to solve this problem?
I have tested on an enterprise WLAN network controller on the 2.4 Ghz with 2 iphones 5 both 6.02 and same WLAN chip vendor BC:3B:AF. The good iphone has a signal noise ratio 47dB my iphone the bad one has a snr of 17dB far below whats normal. Now I have done a complete factory reset with no result the WIFI problem is still there. Any suggestions out there??
Make an appointment at the genius bar and take it in to be replaced. Could be a bad radio, bad antenna or antenna connection, etc. If you've restored it as a new device and you're still having the same problem, odds are good it's a hardware fault.
I don't seem to have connection issues - just SLOWness. I have confirmed that changing it from WPA2 to WPA will speed it up. Went from 1mb to 17mb. Less secure of course. Apple please fix this issue.
scratch that - only worked for a few seconds at good speed. Might try WEP to see if that fixes it.
edit - tried just about everything - inlcuding no security and it was still slow <1mb when it should be about 16mb.
