Connect USB device to Firewire port

Can I connect a keyboard, expansion CD, or other USB-cabled device to a Firewire port on the iMAC? What brand of USB-Female to Firewire-Male is recommended?

iMac, Mac OS X (10.6.8)

No, sorry, that is not possible. The technologies are too different for a converter ever to have been practical, if even possible.

As mentioned, far to different ofvoltages & signals for it to work... thoigh I've seen suh impossible devices for sale out of China.

I think what you want is a good USB hub...
