Q: could not activate my i phone 3gs through itunes after a restore

Was it hacked or jailbroken to unlock it before you restored it?

it was my daughter iphone, she did'nt sure what was done.

In other words, she jailbroke it and doesn't want to admit to it.

I have the similar problem, my iPhone 3GS was unlocked and worked before for 4 years. But now, it does not activate. server not available message shows up while activating.

Generally a sign the either the iPhone is jailbroken or the computer you are

attempting to activate with has been used to perform jailbreaks. See help from
