I have a MacPro 4.1 I would like to upgrade to either a 27-inch Apple Cinema Display or a Dell UltraSharp U27XX. Both max out at 2560X1440. Can my ATI 5770 drive a beast of this size? Thanks.

I use the Dell U2711 at native resolution 2560x1440 via the cable supplied with the monitor and attached to the ATI 5770 on my 2009 MacPro.

Support for digital resolutions up to 2560 by 1600 pixels
... and supports up to two at that resolution easily, three if you use the exact right adapters.
