I have a flash drive and i put a movie on it from my friends laptop, when i put it on my laptop it wouldn't play because a required codec isnt available.
What does that mean?! My friends laptop is an acer and mine is a mac is that why it wont work?
Unless it is a homemade movie, more than likely it's the DRM/copyright protection at work; the Terms of Use here do not allow us to discuss methods to circumvent that.
It means that QuickTime cannot play it. Download VideoLan for Mac & all your problems will be solved.
