bought ringtone cant find it

Check you songs. If you find it listed as a song, you purchased a song that must first be converted to a ringtone using iTunes. Transfer it to your iTunes library by connecting your phone to iTunes, then going to File>Devices>Transfer Purchases. Then convert the song to a ringtone as shown here: Create free ringtones with iTunes 10 then sync it back to your phone.

I bought a ringtone from the Itues store and it shows up as a ringtone in my purchase history, but it doesn't show up in either my music or tones files. How do I find it? I checked dowloads and don't have anything that hasn't been downloaded.
