I forgot the password on my iphone 5 so how fix it?

last night, i decided to change my password and then i fell asleep. When morning came, i forgot my passcode! i feel so stupid. i am stupid. ugh. i tried to restre it but itunes always says that i need a passcode to do that! please help me!
