Problem with Layout function - Unexpected Problem error

Hi:

I just installed Soundtrack Pro 3 from a boxed upgrade of Logic Studio 2. I installed everything, did a software update and ran Soundtrack Pro 3 to open a demo file (the Ducati one from Logic Studio 1). Soundtrack opened fine and played the Ducati file.

However, when I do anything with Layout through the toolbar or the drop down menu (except for F1 to Standard view or Split view) I get this error:

An Unexpected Problem

NSInternalInconsistencyException

Modal session requires modal window

I follow the troubleshoot guide on the apple website: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT3659

Has anyone run into this problem before and resolved it? I am just about to re-install it as a last resort unless someone can help me.

I am running a MacBook Pro 3,1 using Mac OS 10.7.5. It is Soundtrack Pro 3.0.1

Thanks for your help,

Ed
