Java Script

I heard on the news this morning there is a security issue with Java Script and it should be disabled. Do Apple products use Java Script? How do you disable it? Apparently hackers can use it to steal one's identity.

You misheard. The security issue is with Java, not JavaScript. They are very different.

iOS devices including the iPad support JavaScript, but do not support Java, so there is nothing for you to worry about, or disable.

Java is the issue. .... not javascript. Your javascript is fine and I am confident Apple would let us know if any issues of security were present. I think you asked a very good question. Many get the two confused.
