Aug 30, 2013 7:27 AM in response to SHDinSBby LarryHN,What you did was recommend that everyone use very outdated 2009 information to manually make changed to the contents of their iPhoto database using BBEdit - you do what you want - but it is not a good idea to do that and it is a worse idea to tell others to do it - it is extremely dangerous and is very likely to lead to loss of data and maybe photos

There was no change to orig. files .....just looking for the problem in a COPY of the file (XML)
And then copying the images (orig.) and deleting from IPhoto .... Then changing the file name to correct the non-ASCII issues or whatever Zap Gremlins found, and re-adding to iPhoto.
I will not be replying further. Pls READ b4 replying :) ... And I apologize if it was not clear, but clarified in later posts.
