iPad 2: How to assort photo-albums

The Photo-albums are imported from my MacBook Pro (stored in iPhoto) via iTunes-sync.

The name of the albums begin always with the date, e.g.: "20130112 +text...."

I'd like to have a chronological order.

Any hint for a solution most welcome
