I upgraded to Mountain Lion because the guy at the apple store told me it would give my macbook (2010) the ability to mirror. I assume he was wrong as I don't have the airplay icon. Correct?

Thanks to the $15 Beamer, AirPlay streaming is still possible on Macs that do not support Airplay and mirroring.
