Wifi issues between airport and laptop running Windows 8

If have a problem with the laptop from my daughter and AirPort Extreme. I tried to copy a couple of movie from our network on to her laptop over wifi. It started to copy then the hole wifi connection was lost. All the other wifi devices (ipads and iphones) lost there connection too. I had to restart AirPort Extreme. I have no problem with my Macbook doing the same thing. Does anybody have an idea what the cause of that problem is?
