Q: Where/ how to replace stolen/ lost ipadmini

Help! I either lost/ had my ipad mini stolen at work when i left it there. I had 4g on it and now i worry about someone picking it up and figuring out how to access all my stuff on it ! I need to know the quickest way to get this one disabled so i can get a new one. I live in a small town but am in houston today. Im thinking of trying to find the apple store but if they are packed like i hear they usually are- where else should i try? I have at@t as my carrier- can they replace all this or can anyone that sells an ipadmini do this ( like best buy, radio shack, etc). I dont want to spend our only day here running all over to places that cant help me. Just wondered if anyone had run into this begore and what worked. I cant seem to find a way to disable it on apple support:(

    You cannot disable it.

     

    Replace what?

     

    You can buy a new ipad.  It doesn't matter where you buy it.

     

    Your content will only be where you put it.

     

    No one else can replace that, only you.

     

    Not sure what you are asking.

     

    Change your passwords.

     

    Buy a new ipad.

     

    Sync it to your comptuer.
