(1) iMovie (it may have come with your Mac) and several other apps can record video with iSight. Some others are listed here:

(2) You can add any software you need that did not come with your Mac. Be certain it is compatible with your PPC (G4) Mac. Software for iNtel Macs will NOT run on your PPC Mac.
