Q: can i retrieve my itunes library? I have changed computers and cannot find my downloads

I bought lots of records from itunes back in 2009 but now cannot retrieve them from the itunes library. Are they now lost and forgotten or can I find them somehow?

Copy the ENTIRE iTunes folder from the old computer to the new computer.

Unfortunately, the old computer has died. Is the only solution a hardware one? Peter

Did the backup of the old computer die as well?
Many times when user's state "my computer has died" this is simply not true... the drive may still be very usable and therefore able to access the data on the drive.
