Album music purchased on iPad downloaded fine, but only downloaded some songs through cloud into my iPhone 5. How do you get it to go back and pick up those songs?

The music album I purchased in iTunes on my iPad downloaded fine to that device, but only about half the songs downloaded OK through the cloud to my iPhone 5. How do you go back and make those songs go through to the iPhone?
