If I no longer have access to the primary email due to a job move, how can I change the rescue address to become the primary? This has puzzled me for over three months! Any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks

You will need to first remove that email address as you rescue email address - there are instructions half-way down the page that you posted from for how to edit/delete it. You should then be able to change your main email address on your account to be that address.
