I have an older imac opweaing on OS X 10.5.8 and I have a macbook pro operating on OS X 10.6.8.  I need to get my itunes library (including playlists) from the imac to the macbook pro. I am wondering if the best way to do this is 1) homesharing 2) using my ipod as a transfer device 3) itunes match.  I tried the migration assistant but it is not working.  Homesharing has worked seemlessly with my iphone 5 and the imac, but has not worked between my imac and my macbook pro. I have yet to try the 2nd and 3rd option listed. Thoughts?
