Folks, I would like to save my apps in my personal storing service, not iCloud, which has less storage. Could you give me some advise? Is it safe to store without iCloud, or are we slaves to it?

Storing apps in iCloud does not count against your 5 GB fee storage since there is really not your individual copy stored in iCloud. All you do is get another copy of the app from the Apple servers.

You can copy your iTunes media library to anywhere you want. To use the backup later you have to move the backup back to the iTunes library.

Just one more question, please. I just copied into iTunes some apps I had installed in my iPhone in 2011. I tried to syn them with my iPod, and I was unable. Some idea to do it?
