Q: Reset user password

I am signed on as Admin in Mountain Lion. I have accessed Users & Groups Preferences and selected the lock to allow me to make changes. However, the users are all greyed out and clicking on them to change one of the passwords does nothing. How else do I change a user's password?

Mac mini (Late 2012), OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

The user has to be logged out.
