apple usb driver missing from device manager

I had to reformat my computer. I downloaded the new version of iTunes and now iPod touch is not showing up in iTunes.

I have gone through the help pages but it did not fix the issue.

iTunes and the moble device programs are installed but the driver is not showing up.

I set the system to find it Automaticly but that did not resolve it either.

Maybe it is the cable? But the cable is charging.

Please Help.
