Hey All,

Does anyone know if the 1st Jam Pack (GarageBand Jam Pack 1), that's the one that is no longer being sold by Apple is compatible with GarageBand 3?

Thanks

Michael

I would further add, has any one tried it in GarageBand 3 along with the other Jam Packs. I tried contacting Apple on this issue but did not get any real concrete answers.

    Thanks again!

No problem with that! All old Jam Packs work in GB3.

    Anyone else care to comment.

I have all the jampacks and use GB3 ,all work perfectly. And so do third party collections of apple loops, as long as the loops are in apple loop format they work as hyped/advertised in GB,Logic.and Logic express consistantly .

    Thanks to All!

I was more concerned with the Instruments that are included in Jam Pack 1 working in GB3 than the loops. I know the loops will work but I was told by Apple that the Jam Pack 1 was know broken up and included in the rest of the Jam Packs. Another answer that I got from Apple is that the Jam Pack 1 was know included as part of GB3. None of these answers make sense to me especially since after installing Jam Pack 1 you can locate the loops folder for that Pack and see that it is not duplicated in any other loop folder belonging to GB3. Any way, thanks to all for your time and help!
