video card upgrade

Hi, I am a deejay using the late 2008 aluminium macbook with nvidia geforce 9600m 256MB. My issue is it hangs when mixing videos... is it possible to upgrade this video card and will it help?

MacBook, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

No, the video card in a MBP is not upgradeable.

max out the ram and replace the hdd with an ssd.
