ipod nano 5g not powering up

hi

i had plugged my ipod nano 5g to my ipad charger. the ipod has not come on since.

The ipod is not powering on. Itunes would not recognize this either (as its not powered on). I have tried all the reboot/ reset fixes on the net (and this community) without any luck. Is there someone who can help here?

Thanks

iPod nano

Does it show any of these if you try to plug it in??? If not then you need a new battery.
