My Gmail was working then stopped on 1-11-13 on my iphone 5. I get the message that the mail server "imap.gmail.com" is not reponding.

I'm connected all other ways, just mail is not working...

Just started getting the "imap.gmail" not responding message this am on my 5. I went in, completely re-signed in as if I was a new user (same account and all, just typed my user name and pw), then turned the phone off for 4-5 minutes, and it's now working. Don't know if this is a permanent fix (seen lots of posts of remedies working temporarily), but it's working now.
