Text typed out on phone which I didn't do!
OK, some real weirdness happened tonight which I haven't been able to figure out.
I was in an iMessage conversation with a friend, left the phone on the counter for a minute while I went to another room. No-one else had access to the phone at home. When I returned to the phone a minute later, the imessage conversation was still open but, freakily, there was a message typed out on my phone as if from me, waiting to be sent. (I can't believe I didn't take a screenshot).
The content of the message was what looked like a brief proverb of sorts or some wise saying, not in very good English, with the name/word 'Al-Maliki' finishing off the message. The only one of that name I know is the Iraqi PM. Neither I nor my friend have any interest in Iraqi politics or Islamic sayings. What I'm really perturbed about is that I didn't receive someone else's imessage; a message which appeared to be from me was typed out on my phone, waiting to be sent to my friend in the conversation we were having.
I've checked imessage settings and they're all ok. Nothing like this has happened before. Really freaked out by it all and, to top it off, the lights dimmed for a few seconds when I was out of the room and the whole street subsequently had a blackout....apart from our house. No joke.
I'm sure there is some sort of explanation for this but, right now, I don't think I'd comfortably be able to watch the Poltergeist movies!!
All the above is absolutely true (including the blackout bit which is clearly coincidence) and I'd really appreciate some insight into what could have caused this glitch/bug. Thanks in advance.
