I am in the military and working with a lot of documents that is .xfdl file extension. I am looking for
someone who has been through this process and able to open Pure Edge documents on Mac. Thank you!

I don't know if it still will, but I had good luck with the old text edit, back in the day (4 or 5 years ago).
Also adobe acrobat professional was able to open them, but I am not sure about reader.
I also found this in another thread on the same issue. I am not familiar with this so you will have to use it at your own risk.

I'm also in the military, and work with IBM XFDL (EPR's) files daily. I have a MBP running OS X 10.7. I'm able to view XFDL files but can't modify them. Are you able to view/modify these types of files now? If so what software did you download? Any information you can share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you
