The same options are there, why do you believe they are not?
The options may be there but you cant select them - it says that they will sync on iCloud automatically but they dont.
The iPhone will not sync contacts to Outlook and iCloud. Any contacts in Outlook will remain there and any on iCloud will remain there, they will not merge, although they will display together on the device.
What lead to this issue starting, other than upgrading iTunes? Is this the computer the device normally syncs with? Was there a computer issue?
It has only happened since the iTunes upgrade - Any changes made to Outlook calendar and contacts will not sync with my iPhone and vice versa. this computer is the one that I always use to sync my Apple products.
Edit any contact or calendar entry that is on the device but not showing in Outlook, scroll to the bottom, what Calendar or Contact system is it showing linked to?
For example, on my device I sync my calendar with Gmail and iCloud.
If I pull up a calendar entry, select Edit and scroll down to Calendar, selecting that item gives me the option of Gmail or iCloud as options and I can easily move the entry between the two calendars.
Same happens for contact entries.
Also, what are the settings in iTunes for syncing?
Start with your phone. Go to:
Setting,
Mail, contacts, Calendars
iCloud,
set Calendar to Off
Now go to itunes on your computer, (it will work just like before)
Plug in your iPhone
select your iPhone,
select info
and the "sync Calendars with Outlook" option will be there!
