How to use Persian Font to iWork or Office

Hi,my name is Bahram, i have a iPad2 and iPhone4S and MacBook pro 2011.

I want to Type persian in MS Office or iWork in Mac Book Pro 2011; but i dont know how can i get and install persian or farsi language to MS Office or iWork? please Help me

You should be able to go to System Preferences>Language & Text and select whichever 'flavor' of Persian that you like for an input source:

MS Office for Mac has never supported Arabic script and iWork has bugs with Arabic that make it unsuitable for most purposes. The best app is Mellel, but Text Edit, Nisus Writer, or OpenOffice should also work OK.


Check the box for Persian in the preferences shown by clinton, plus the box for Show Input Menu in Menu Bar, plus the box for Keyboard Viewer. The select Persian from the "flag" menu at the top right of the screen and type. Select Keyboard Viewer from the same menu to see which key does what.
