iPhone 5 won't get out of recovery mode after failed restore and update.

I tried updating to the new software on my phone and it never went through. Tonight I tried updating, failed. When going to use my phone, it came up as in Recovery Mode. It told me to Restore, which I tried three times so far. Still... NO luck.

I've tried:

- switching USB ports

- switching charging cords (both Apple)

- restarting my computer

- restarting my iPhone 5

- made sure everything was updated and backed up before
