How can I read 32 bit audio and convert it to 24 bit in Logic ?

Really? They could have said so in the manual... well, glad you didn't have to look out for a conversion program...

With reboot, do you mean restart your Mac? Or just restart Logic?


Ah, wait, in the description for .caf files they offer what I can only GUESS is a vague pointer to 32 bit files, as "high bit depths":

Core Audio Format Files

Core Audio Format (CAF) files are containers that support integer and float PCM formats, A-law, u-law, and a number of others including AAC and the Apple Lossless Audio Codec (ALAC). Unrestricted file sizes are possible, at high sample rates andbit depths."


It could have been a tiny bit more explicit and clear...
