Hi,

I found this post that it's very useful but I have some questions, maybe someone could answer me:

https://discussions.apple.com/thread/1895803?start=0&tstart=0

1) I made some tests and the pitch bend affects every midi channel in a track...is this normal?

2) How was the quarter tone amount calculated?

3) I could find the pitch bend in exs but not in other sofware instruments...

Thanks in advance

It is much easier and more beneficial if you use Logic's built in scale creator...

Note: This is a 'Per Project' and not a Global setting so....

Start a new project and the go to File/Project Settings/Tuning and select Fixed or User Tuning.

Now you can either select one of the many presets via the Fixed section or create you own via the User section...

Much fun to be had by one and all 🙂

...and a heck of a lot easier than trying to set up tunings via the pitchwheel...

Indeed! I too, have been looking for a way to create a full 24 note per octave scale but so far no luck... I did manage to create a few Arabic tunings via the Tunings settings in Logic...(Which is what i thought you were looking for..) but not a full 24 note scale. I also worked out how to do it in Kontakt using two identical instruments but not a general setting one could use with anything....

However, I have hopes that one of the Environment 'wizards' over on LPH... may come up with a workable solution,,. so i have started a thread there...
