Hi I entered the right apple id and password and still my Mac doesn't appear in the list of devices, what should I do?

What list of devices and in what application are you looking?
in the icloud
Are you looking at the Find My Phone folder?
I feel like I'm pulling teeth to understand your problem.
Sorry if I came across as non communicative. The issue is that my ipda shows in the list of devices in the icloud Find my iphone application, while my Mac Book pro doesn't despite the fact that I entered the right aaple id and password and triple checked it.
No problem.. and in your iCloud Panel do you have "Find My Mac" checked.?

Sorry for the late replies but I am in a different time zone. Yes I have all this checked but still it does not work . I have to tell you though that my Mac froze before that and I had to reinstall the Lion OS. I think something is wrong with my hard disks maybe?
