After a lot of trial and error, I have traced the constant crashing of my iPod Classic to the amount of characters in a playlist name. It appears as though that limit may be 64 characters, but I'm doing further testing to see if playlists that are nested in folders have even less of a maximum length. Can anyone else verify this?

Create a playlist name greater than 64 characters and try syncing it to your iPod. Then go to the iPod and try to access that playlist and you will crash it into an endless booting loop, only fixable by doing a complete restore.
