Q: My Mighty Mouse has stopped scrolling upward.  Everything else seems to be working well.  Can this be corrected? Yes, I've cleaned it several times, as per instructions.

My mouse will not scroll UP.  I've cleaned it several times, as per instructions, and all other functions are fine.  Can this be fixed or do I have to get another mouse?

Cleaning never works for very long.  If you Google, you can find instructions on opening the case to clean it properly, but is is tricky.

Try the Magic Mouse or Trackpad.

The you tube demo on how to dismantle the mouse lacked a few details, but it got the job done.  Very tricky getting everything back together, but it worked!  Amazing how much trouble a little bit of lint can cause.  Thanks for the advice.  My advice:  be sure you have a well lit, soft non-slip surface and a source of magnification.
