iTunes Match problems with updated playlists

I updated my iTunes playlist this morning with songs I have recently downloaded, and then for some reason I lost thos playlists on my iTunes Match on my iPhone 5. is there something else I have to do to update my playlists to work with the iTunes Match, or is this a bug that needs to get fixed?
