Apparently - I have no idea how - my MacBook Pro has become dissassociated from my Apple ID. The primary symptom of this highly irritating situation is that content bought on other devices (using the same Apple ID) are now no longer available for me to download via iCloud (error dialog as below).

I can find no reference to how I might re-associate my machine to my Apple ID. This support article - http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4627 - should answer the question, given it's title, but it doesn't. I don't even know how the MacBook Pro became dissociated...

I should be able to associate 10 devices to my Apple ID - I currently have 5.

I should be able to re-associate a device that has (somehow) become dissociated (shouldn't I?) - but I can't find out how.

Anyone got any bright ideas? Apple Support have been their usual very pleasant but so far rather ineffectual selves...
