Cannot delete email accounts

Cannot delete email accounts

In settings under mail, the accounts are grayed out not allowing me to select them for deletion. What's wrong?

iPad, iOS 5.1.1

Have you currently got Settings > General > Restrictions > Accounts (in the Allow Changes section) set to 'Don't Allow Changes' ? If you have then change it to 'Allow Changes'

I have no clue what's wrong but fixing it is simple..... you need to do a backup and restore as new device

That should get all that fix up.
