Q: MacPro unequal resolution

I have MacPro with two NEC PA271 displays. One connected directly with DVI the other with DVI to Display adapter.  One gets 2560 x 1440 resolution, the other gets 1920 x 1080 resolution.  How do I get both to display max resolution?

Is your DVI to Display adapter a dual-link or single-link adapter. You need a dual link adapter to get resolutions larger than 1920 x 1200.
