Does AT&T pro-rate service?

On the iPad with AT&T service, do I have to pay for the full month if I only activate my data plan for a few days?

iPad, iOS 6.0.1

Yes. You always pay for the full month with their plans. They do not pro-rate.

Thanks. I will be leaving for Hawaii next Tues . Not a fun trip. Parents do not have wifi will start service 15th. Wondering if service will extend to 15th of may?
