Can I erase the files off my stolen iPod if I don't have an iClouds account but i have my serial number and other information?

My iPodwas recently stolen and i would like to erase my files on it but I don't have an iCloud account. Is it still possible to erase my files and if so how I do this?

You can't erase your device unless you had set up iCloud and enabled Find My iPod on it before it was stolen.
