Dreamweaver won't work in Mountain Lion! HELP!!!!

I am FREAKING OUT!!! Firefox yelled at me for having an old OS (10.5.8 I think it was?), so I planned to get all caught up and did not consider the possible consequences! I didn't even think about program incompatibility. I have a newborn and my brain is very tired at the moment!!! I upgraded to Snow Lion today, and after downloading whatever Rosetta is, I was able to use my Dreamweaver program, which I RELY ON HEAVILY, but after the upgrade to Mountain Lion, I can't use it anymore! Something about not being able to use Power PC programs. What can I do!? Can I go BACK to Snow Lion!? I NEED my Dreamweaver!!!

Oh... and I'm on a 2008 Mac Book Pro... if that is helpful... which I was told through chat support in the store was upgradeable. Programs were not mentioned!

You really have an old copy of Dreamweaver there seeing as how it was coded for the PowerPC which Apple dropped in 2006.

You have two choices either upgrade to a newer version that is coded for Intel or downgrade to Snow Leopard where you can still execute PowerPC.

Personally I upgraded to the newer version long ago because it was so much better then the older version.

If you created a backup before you upgrade to Mountain Lion, you can erase your disk and reinstall Snow Leopard.

If not, it is a royal pain to downgrade.

I last did a Time Machine back up on the original OS, but I did not back up on Snow Leopard as I did the upgrades from work and my TM drive is at home... So... go back to that old TM back up!? Thanks for any help. I am an iIdiot.

I would upgrade Dreamweaver, but that's expensive!!!!

You get what you pay for.

I found the old PPC version to be so far behind the power curve when it came to creating web sites that I felt I was forced to upgrade to a newer version simply to remain productive.
