FaceTime on MBA (alt email) to Apple ID email on iPad - Nada

So I try to call my iPad at home which is logged in with the same Apple ID as my Air. The AIR listens on my work email and the ipad listens on the apple id email. I look up my contact card on FaceTime and click the Apple ID email to call my ipad. Literally nothing happens. Clicking the email does nothing. It is like clicking a web link where href="#".

I can FaceTime my iphone by phone number. This same ipad has FaceTimed with other ipads. They all work on their own, but when I try to call from Air to iPad, nothing. No errors, no messages, just dead clicks.

Any help?
