I can't get the letters to move when playing Words with Friends on my 3G phone It's like it's frozen-what do I do?

I am having trouble with my 3G Iphone when I play Words with Friends. It won't let me move the letters on some

of my games and on others it takes forever for the word to register. What should do to solve this problem?
