Q: What MIDI drivers come default with OSX Mountain Lion?

Hey all, I just recently started building a set of assets to use in recording. I have Logic Pro 9, OSX Mountain Lion, and just got a Digidesign - Digi 002.. after installing the latest driver set from Avid's website, I keep getting an error message saying that COREmidi.framework has quit unexpectedly. This error message repeats over and over everytime I cancel it out, as well as keeps Logic Pro 9 from launching. The only way I was able to remedy the problem was to use terminal to dump all midi drivers using this line of command:

sudo rm -rf /Library/Audio/MIDI\ Drivers/*

After doing so, the messages stopped and Logic now opens no problem, and I'm able to make recordings with my microphone and my M-Audio Fastrack I had used before purchasing the Digi 002.

Any help, thoughts, remedies, or miracles in mind?
