How do I set up on the iPad that it will ask for apple ID password when downloading apps
I need to setup my daughters iPad to ask for my apple ID password when downloading apps and can't workout how to do it........help please

Depending upon what version of iOS that you have on the iPad then you might have a Settings > General > Restrictions > Require Password which you can set to 'Immediately' - the default is a 15 minute period during which it doesn't need re-entering.
There are also Restrictions settings for turning off In-App Purhcases and for hiding the App Store (Installing Apps 'off').
