am using iphone 3gs with ios6 and apps keep crashing, especially whatsapp and sometimes contacts, etc.

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore (first from backup then as new).
Has any of this been tried?
Hi diesel, i tried reset, restart, restore first from backup and then new as per your help, but still when i open whatsapp, after a 2 minutes or so, the app closes down, same happened with the contacts also once.
try restoring it to a lower ios 4

This is bad advice as there is no supported method to downgrade the iOS.
oh, I reset my phone and then it was on a lower ios. 😕
Resetting an iOS device does not change the IOS version or affect any data on the device.
