I bought a new iPad with these information: MD15LL/A iPad Wi-Fi 64GB White Model A1458 and Serial number DM*******187. I have tried to identify where to insert a sim card and use cellular data, but I did see any space on the iPad for that. Why?

The model of my new iPad is MD15LL/A iPad Wi-Fi 64GB White. Model A1458, Serial No. DM*******187. I cannot find a port or space to insert a sim card for cellular data network. This is strange considering that I use my sim card for my iPad 2. Any help?

The model A1458 is a wifi-only iPad - it does not have a SIM slot since it does not have any cellular radio for connection to a cell service provider's network.

If you wanted a wifi/LTE iPad, you bought the wrong model. If you bought it from Apple directly, you can return it within 14 days of purchase for a full refund, and then buy the wifi/cellular model in stead (which will cost more).
