Tried to do a an update for facebook app on my Iphone 3 & now my facebook app doesn't work. It comes up as a blue screen then after a few seconds it dissappears. I have deleted it & added it & turning it off & on after each attempt. Any suggestions?

The latest version of the Facebook app requires iOS 4.3 or later and is not compatible with the iPhone 3G's last iOS 4.2.1
That's exactly what I was thinking the problem maybe considering there is only one facebook app to choose from! Had I known that to begin with I would of never tried to do an update! Now I have no facebook at all! I love my Iphone 3! Guess I have facebook to thank for not caring about the people who still have older Iphones!
In a way... you may not have the Facebook app, that's on Facebook, but as far as your 3G you could use Safari to log into Facebook then tap the Forward button at the bottom of the screen and Add to Home Screen. This creates a shortcut to the site as if it's an app.
